venue: scene of Art_Inkubator in Fabryka Sztuki, Tymienieckiego 3, Łódź

In iMac Music, Jonathan Reus performs a sonic deconstruction of vintage iMac G3 computers, attempting to construct kinetic aesthetics at the boundary of hardware and software. The computers run software routines as visual distortions are created on-screen through live-hacking of the circuitry with fine-tipped sound amplifying probes. With these instruments the performers play the circuits, using computational processes as raw operating material for musical vandalism.
